Nepali (नेपाली) Input Extension (for Firefox)
A Firefox Extension which makes entering नेपाली characters as easy as it can get !
So, What's the catch ?
In 4 easy steps, you will be typing in Nepali(नेपाली)..... simple as that ! The only downside is that it ONLY works in Firefox.1. Download and Install Firefox
2. Installing the Firefox extension(add-on) to input Nepali(नेपाली) characters.
a) Install it from the official Firefox Extensions page. ( Tick mark the "Let me install this experimental add-on", then Click "Add To Firefox")b) Restart Firefox !
3. Time to PARTY !
You must have already noticed a small Nepali Flag icon at the bottom right corner of Firefox. If not, try the above steps again !
Hit (Ctrl+Alt+SPACE), the red cross next to the flag will now turn into green tick mark.
Everything you type (inside Firefox) with now be in Nepali(नेपाली).
Hit (Ctrl+Alt+SPACE) again and your browser gets back to normal, the flag icon turns red.
4. So, How do i type ? I mean, pressing what gives what ?
Just click on the Nepali Flag icon, and you will get the Keyboard Map/Layout (originally developed by the Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya).There's even a "Print" button hoping you might want one. :D
